Man on the Edge: #IfMyPhoneGotHacked

This video is no longer available.

Well, what do you know!?  The hits just keep on coming!  Another day, and another round of those hacked celebrity nude pictures has been posted.  Plus some X-rated cell phone videos.

And it doesn’t look like it’s over yet.  Some new, censored thumbnails are out there, hinting at a third round of leaks.  Starting to get nervous about your phone yet?

Despite the flurry of “cease and desist” orders flying around, getting some of the images off the Internet might not be very easy.  Not just because they’re being posted and downloaded and posted again, but TMZ reports that one un-named porn site is saying the celebrities don’t have the copyright to the pictures, unless it was clearly a selfie.  And not all of them are.  They’re saying the pictures stay up until the legal copyright owner demands their removal.

And that has led to a groundswell of support for the victims, manifesting in the form of hashtag activism.  Just today, the hashtag #IfMyPhoneGotHacked has been one of the top trends on Twitter.   People are showing support by admitting to things they’d be embarrassed about.

Which made our Man on the Edge, Robert Wilder, wonder what you would be embarrassed about if your phone got hacked…
