Β CHARLOTTE, NC —Β Fans got to tailgate with some of the Panthers Friday night and support a great cause at the same time. Β
Coach Ron Rivera and his wife Stephanie officially launched their Tailgating Cookbook Friday with a mix and mingle at Mercedes Benz of South Charlotte. Β A few players stopped by for the fun. The Riveras are thrilled Β the book will support a cause dear to them.
“The whole idea is to raise awareness, to raise funds, obviously, for the Humane Society of Charlotte,” said Coach Rivera. Β “I am certainly enjoying trying them right now. Β The food is outstanding right now!”
The book is filled with recipes from popular Charlotte restaurants and features pictures of the Carolina Panthers. Β It’s for sale on the Humane Society’s website.
