CORNELIUS, N.C.– Rescue teams started searching for a swimmer in the mid channel of Lake Norman just after 7 p.m. Sunday.
CMPD says seven people were on a boat when three people jumped in the water and only two came back out.
Officials were dispatched to 16309 Belle Vista Dr. where they went onto the lake in search for the swimmer.
