CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Investigators say a man was killed in an early morning duplex fire in east Charlotte. Β Fire crews responded to the home on Faison Avenue near Matheson Avenue just after 6 a.m.
They say heavy smoke and flames were coming from the duplex. Β Firefighters were able to rescue the victim’s mother from inside but Sean Fruge was pronounced dead on the scene. Β
Investigators have not released a cause at this time. Β Check back for updates. Β
