CHARLOTTE, NC –Don’t miss the 20th Festival of India going on September 13th- 14th at Belk Theater.
The Festival of India is organized to showcase that diversity of culture and heritage to the larger community in the Carolinas and provides an excellent opportunity for cultural exchange in a fun setting.
The Festival will bring the best talent within the community to highlight a fusion of popular modern (Bollywood) and classical Indian dance forms, in captivating performances that educate and enthrall people of all ages.
A large Food Court on the street offers a range of popular Indian delicacies to tickle the palate. In addition, various Indian souvenirs, costumes, jewelry and literary works are displayed for viewing and purchasing.
Activities for children include free Moon Bounce, Kids Art Competition, in addition to all the dancing and singing activities.
