Β Coach Ron Rivera, not giving a timetable for bringing Greg Hardy back. Β It was a last-minute decision by the coach, after some conversation with upper-management, to deactivate Greg Hardy from Sunday’s game. Β And given that the atmosphere has changed, the question might not be whenΒ willΒ Greg Hardy come back, but whenΒ shouldΒ he come back.
But Hardy is still a play-maker, and deactivating him at the last minute was intended to send a message. Β One not everyone agrees with. Β And additional public pressure may be put on the Panthers, given that the Minnesota Vikings have reactivated Adrian Peterson after his arrest for beating his child. He has a court date this week, where he’s expected to enter a plea, but he’s also expected to play on Sunday.
So if Peterson’s back, why not Hardy? Β It’s a big mix of messages and business. Β So what do you think? Β Should Greg Hardy be allowed to play until his legal issues are over?
