Palm Print Leads To Arrest Of Breaking And Entering Suspect Four Years Later

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A palm print taken from a 2010 breaking and entering case helped police track the suspect four years later. Β

Officials say they responded to a vehicle break-in on April 8, 2010 at a home on Logan Lane in Denver. Β

Investigators say someone entered the garage area of the house after the homeowner forgot to put the door down the night before. Β The suspect is accused of taking a purse from the vehicle. Β

A deputy found some finger prints and a palm print on the vehicle and collected the samples and entered them into the FBI’s Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System. Β

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the FBI on Monday that they found a match of the palm print. Β That led to the arrest of Jordan Suarez of Lincolnton. Β

He has been charged with breaking and entering a building, breaking and entering a motor vehicle and larceny after breaking and entering. Β
