Pitchin’ for Wishes Cornhole Tournament

The Pitchin‘ for Wishes Cornhole Tourney holds the Guinness World Record for largest cornhole tournament and offers fun for the whole family. If you‘re interested in competing, register by Sept. 19 – the entry fee for a two-person team is $60 and goes directly to Make-A-Wishone space® Central & Western North Carolina. The event is free for spectators. Hosted by general contractor Andrew Roby and Harris Teeter, Inc., Pitchin‘ for Wishes will also feature children‘s activities such as a bounce house, face painters and a balloon artist. Sir Purr from the Panthers, Homer from the Charlotte Knights, Charlotte Hounds‘ Blue and Chubby Checker from the Checkers will all make a special appearance. And, organizers will raffle off a set of tires from Continental Tire.
