CHARLOTTE, NC – No arrests less than a week after a deadly home invasion in East Charlotte. Family of the victim, Michael Crawford, says they’re still shaken up after Β the brazen attack.Β

Dozens of people held candles, seeking comfort and prayer Sunday evening at Methodist Home Park. Β

Crawford’s family tells WCCB two guys broke down their door on Rupert Lane early Wednesday morning and shot the 44-year-old man.
Β
Crawford’s 75-year-old mother, two children, and girlfriend were all there when it happened. Β His sister says she still gets upset thinking about what happened.
Β
“Unbelief. And doubt. Worry and panic. Thinking that this could, how could this happen to such a nice person, loving brother, father, and it’s sad, it really is,” says Monica Smith.
