Carolina Panthers’ Mike Tolbert Out Against Ravens, Stewart And Davis Also Injured

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers will go into Sunday’s game against the Ravens without running back Mike Tolbert and possibly Jonathan Stewart. Β

Both running backs were injured during Sunday night’s game against the Steelers. Β Head Coach Ron Rivera says running back DeAngelo Williams should be able to play against the Ravens. Β

Williams has missed the last two games due to a hamstring injury.

The Panthers recently signed Darrin Reaves from the team’s practice squad after Williams was injured. Β

Tolbert has a hairline fracture in his leg. Β Stewart left Sunday’s game with a sprained knee. Β Linebacker Thomas Davis was also injured. Β However, coaches did not elaborate on the extent of his injury. Β

The Panthers will travel to Baltimore and play the Ravens at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Β
