CHARLOTTE, NC — For many, Charlotte missionary Nancy Writebol became the face of the Ebola outbreak. Β She was the first American aid worker to contract the virus. Β
WCCB spoke one on one with her and her husband David Wednesday. Β She told WCCB News @ Ten anchor Will KennedyΒ she still wants to return to West Africa and continue her missionary work.
“Our doctors have not given me clearance yet. Β I asked the other day, ‘Can I go back to Africa?’ Β And they looked at me and said, ‘Well, it’s too soon,'” she said.
