LANCASTER, S.C. — A dead man was found face down in a resident’s yard after a fight Saturday night, officials say.
Police are searching for 49-year-old Carmen Mendez Martinez who also goes by the name of Faulstino Peralta. Martinez last lived on Sara Drive in Lancaster.
Officers responded to High Lane just before midnight where homeowners say they heard unknown people fighting in their back yard.
Police found a face down on the ground and pronounced him dead on scene. The man’s name will be release after his family is notified of his death.
