Hey, Mooresville – Dr. Oz is coming back! Join HeathReach Community Clinic and our partner Dr. Oz during a special day of events. We‘re engaging our region in healthy living while highlighting free medical clinics of the Carolinas and the great work they do. We‘ll kick off the celebration with a community walk and health fair followed by a visit to HealthReach Community Clinic where we‘ll host a free dental clinic and Dr. Oz will even drop in on a few patients! Cardiovascular health is his passion, but Dr. Oz wants to take that passion one step further. We‘ll look at our health not in a compartmentalized way, but as a whole – creating harmony in your health. This is why we‘re thrilled to host Dr. Oz and bring this event to Mooresville. Get active and be educated so that you can improve your lifestyle – mind, body and soul. We‘ll see you soon! Health Fair Hosted at the Charles Mack Citizen Center from 8:00am to 12:00pm, the Health Fair will showcase national and local health related businesses. Join us in this opportunity to unite mind, body and soul through education. Health Screenings On-site health screenings will include: Pre Diabetes – Hemoglobin A1C (finger stick) Blood Pressure BMI (with height, weight) Mammography Bus (must have insurance card and name of physician) Other Screenings: Glucose Lipid Community Walk Kickoff the day with our partner Walgreens and special guest Dr. Oz as he leads a 1 mile walk along the beautiful historic streets of Mooresville. A DJ will be on hand to get the party started and be sure to stick around for a fun presentation from the Town of Mooresville to Dr. Oz! The Route The 1-mile Community Walk will begin at 10:00am at Merinos‘ side parking lot (College and Church St) and continue down Church St. until you reach the Charles Mack Citizen Center where the Harmony in Health Fair will take place. Please note that there is a hill on the walk route and that there will be no transportation back to your vehicle from Merinos‘. Black Tie Formal Fundraising meets fabulous at Trump National, when Dr. Oz and special guests Christy Mack take the stage to drive support for HealthReach Community Clinic and our vision of integrative health. Join us for dinner and dancing with a special appearance by local favorite Ken Knox and company, formerly Chairman of the Board.
