CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As students head back to class one day after a student was shot by a classmate one campus, school and district administrators are making it clear that Albemarle High School is safe.

Stanly County Superintendent Terry Griffin and Principal Jessie Morton updated us Wednesday morning.

Morton says the incident will not define Albemarle High and that learning will continue.
