Turning Point, Inc. is honoring victims of domestic violence with its annual balloon release on Oct. 21 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the plaza in front of the Union County Government building in downtown Monroe. Monroe Mayor Bobby Kilgore will read a domestic violence proclamation. The public is invited to join Turning Pointβs board, volunteers, supporters, law enforcement, court personnel and others in this annual event.
