CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating a murder-suicide in south Charlotte.
Detectives say deputies with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve an eviction notice at a residence on Myers Hunter Lane when they noticed a man and woman had been shot.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene and the woman died a short time later. Investigators say the couple were husband and wife. Police have not released their names.
