CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man is dead after being assaulted in a west Charlotte home. Police say they are now looking for the suspect.
Around 6 p.m., officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the 3700 block of Avalon Avenue. When officers arrived on scene, they located 50-year-old Joseph Bryant inside a home. He was pronounced deceased on scene by Medic.
