CHARLOTTE, NC — Officers are searching for a suspect in an east Charlotte homicide.
In the video above, you can see a white pickup truck with a blown-out window. That’s where police found 50-year-old Daniel Garcia-Pablo shot. He did not survive.
Parents on Snow Lane asked WCCB to hide their identities for fear of retaliation. They say they’ve seen four murder investigations in a year, and they are ready to move.
“They need to shut it down. This neighborhood is terrible. It’s infested. It’s disgusting. Drugs, everything. This neighborhood is terrible, period. It’s not safe for children; it’s not safe for the adults,” said one resident.
Police tell us they believe the shooter could be driving a gray, four-door vehicle with white over the driver’s side front tire.
