SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. –An Amber Alert issued for a missing 2-year-old in North Carolina has been cancelled.
Police say the child is in Georgia. Authorities are working to locate them. Officials say Hughes is with his mother Alison Robinson Naylor. Police say DSS removed the child from Naylor’s custody during a child welfare investigation.
Naylor is described as a white female, 5’8″ tall, 225lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.
Hughes is described as a white male, approximately 3 feet tall, 60lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
They were last seen on US 421 North in Samspon County.
They are traveling in a brown 2001 Buick Century with S.C. license plate KHX-728. If you see Hughes or Naylor or their vehicle, call 911 immediately.
