CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman was hit and killed by a truck in west Charlotte early Thursday morning. Investigators say Lisa Mobley was walking in a crosswalk on Brookshire Boulevard when she was struck by a truck and killed.
The driver of the truck, Jeremy Miller, stayed on the scene while police investigated. Police say Mobley was wearing dark clothing and was walking in the crosswalk against the crossing sign.
Detectives do not believe speed or alcohol use were factors in this accident.
