CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman was hit and killed by a truck in west Charlotte early Thursday morning. Β Investigators say Lisa Mobley was walking in a crosswalk on Brookshire Boulevard when she was struck by a truck and killed. Β
The driver of the truck, Jeremy Miller, stayed on the scene while police investigated. Β Police say Mobley was wearing dark clothing and was walking in the crosswalk against the crossing sign. Β
Detectives do not believe speed or alcohol use were factors in this accident.
