Β CHARLOTTE, NC — Speed is to blame for a deadly crash that killed an 18-year-old in south Charlotte. Β Police say Louis Graham, III was speeding on Marvin Road towards Villa Court Thursday.
He died when his motorcycle hit the front of a van. Β Neighbors say motorcycle drivers use Villa Court as a cut-though, and often speed in the neighborhood.
“He was never a risk-taker. Β He was a real good dude. Β Real good. Β But I just hate it happened, you know. Β I hate that with a passion,” said south Charlotte resident Octavius Boozier.
CMPD is still investigating and is asking witnesses to call Crimestoppers. Β That number is 704-334-1600.
