Β A tattoo shop in Amsterdam will have the skin with your favorite tatts peeled off your body and sent for preservation. Β Their logic is that it’s an incredibly personal possession to pass on, even if it is kind of creepy. Β For legal puposes, it’s done to be part of a “museum project”, but the museum will “loan” the piece out to the family.
It might seem odd, but for some people, their tattoos are their prized possessions. Β But certainly not the only unusual items you might treasure. Β Like this guy who just posted to YouTube this week: he opened a 20-year-old box of Magic: The Gathering cards and found one of the rarest cards ever, an Alpha Black Lotus. Β Whatever that is, it’s worth about $30,000 in the nerd world.
