Team officials say Benjamin was injured when Cincinnati linebacker Vontaze Burfict hit him in the head and neck area. Β Burfict was fined $25,000 by the NFL for intentionally trying to twist the ankles of Cam Newton and Greg Olsen. Β
Burfict was flagged for unnecessary roughness after the hit on Benjamin. Β Coach Rivera has not said if Benjamin will play Sunday against the Packers.
