Β SPENCER, NC — The second of three suspects wanted for the murders of a Spencer man and his uncle is in jail.
24-year-old Darius Abel is locked up in the Rowan County Jail without bond. Β Investigators say Abel and two other men were wearing gorilla masks when they stormed into a home on 5th Street on October 8. Β Tony Walker and his uncle James Walker were both shot and killed.
Police arrested Kenneth Abel, Jr. earlier this week. Β He’s believe to be Darius Abel’s cousin.
