CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say the man accused of killing his girlfriend last week in north Charlotte has died. Β
Detectives say 55-year-old Paul Williams was at the Mecklenburg County Jail when he went into cardiac arrest. Β He later died at a local hospital. Β
Williams is accused of shooting Jestine Clyburn on Echo Glen Road in the Hidden Valley neighborhood on October 15th. Β
