SHELBY COUNTY, T.N. — Police say several Memphis area high school students were suspended after school officials uncovered an alleged prostitution ring inside a high school. Β
Investigators say a 14-year-old female student was offering sex to her classmates in the boys’ bathroom during lunchtime. Β
A student at the school told detectives the female student would pass notes to let boys know she was offering sex. Β The student also told police the girl sometimes charged for the sex acts. Β
No other details have been released at this time. Β Police are still investigating and more suspensions are possible. Β
