SPENCER, N.C. — Police have arrested a third person in connection to a double homicide investigation in Spencer. Β James Robinson, Jr. was arrested Tuesday morning in Halifax County, Virginia. Β He will be brought back to Rowan County to face charges.
Investigators say Robinson and two other men, all wearing gorilla masks, stormed a home in Spencer on October 8. Β Tony Walker and his uncle, James Walker, were shot and killed.
Police arrested Kenneth Abel, Jr. and Darius Abel last week in connection to the murders.
