CHARLOTTE, NC — The adoptive father of missing Salisbury teen Erica Parsons now waits for a jury to decide his fate.

Sandy Parsons is on trial for fraud.  Testimony from both sides wrapped up Friday, allowing the jury to begin deliberating.  Parsons is accused of continuing to collect Erica’s Medicaid and food stamps after she disappeared in 2011.  She wasn’t reported missing until August 2013.

Parson’s wife Casey pleaded guilty to 15 fraud charges earlier this month.  She faces up to 200 years in prison, and will be sentenced in February.

There is a $50,000 reward for information leading to Erica Parsons.  If you have a tip, call the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office at 704-216-8700.
