CHESTER, S.C. — Police are investigating after a Chester City Councilman was shot and killed Tuesday night near his home.
Investigators say Odell Williams was shot inside his vehicle on Roundtree Circle. He was rushed to a local hospital where he died a short time later.
Police have not made any arrests at this time and there is no word on a motive.
