Β Thursday at noon, former mayor, convicted felon, and all-around guy who just doesn’t seem to get it Patrick Cannon goes back to court. Β This time, because he broke the terms of his bond, by breaking the law, by casting a vote, after losing his right to vote when he was convicted on a federal corruption charge. Β That takes some kind of nerve.
You might explain it away as a simple mistake, but this is coming from a guy who admitted to taking bribes because he never thought he’d get caught. Β And don’t forget about the way he acted after he took a plea deal. Β Remember that selfie he posted on Facebook? Β He didn’t add a caption, but it didn’t look like he was sweating anything.
