Suspected Road Rage Incident Turns Violent In Southwest Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A suspected road rage incident left a man fighting for his life after he was shot in southwest Charlotte.  

Police say the shooting happened on Boyer Street off Billy Graham Parkway just before 9 a.m.  Witnesses say a road rage incident that began on Clanton Road ended in the parking lot of Piedmont Advantage Bank.  

Investigators believe the suspect shot the man while he was sitting inside a white SUV.  No arrests have been made at this time.  Officials say the victim has life threatening injuries.
