WACO, Texas (AP) β€” Third-ranked Baylor is home against 6-3 Texas A&M today (3:30 p.m. Eastern kickoff). The 7-1 Bears are third in the College Football Playoff rankings and trying to stay in strong position with road games against No. 17 Georgia and No. 4 Alabama left. Texas A&M could go a long way toward turning the season around with an upset after losing three consecutive SEC games.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) β€” Fourth-ranked Alabama takes its 7-1 record on the road (8 p.m. Eastern kickoff) in a hostile environment to play at No. 14 LSU, which is 7-2. Alabama will win the SEC Western Division and remain firmly in contention for a spot in the College Football Playoff by winning its final four regular-season games.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP)β€” Fifth-ranked Oregon at 8-1 is trying to avoid a dreaded second defeat as it plays on the road at Utah tonight (10 p.m. Eastern kickoff). Oregon remains ranked at No. 5 in the AP Top 25, but the Ducks popped into No. 4 in the College Football Playoff rankings that will determine the four teams headed to the first playoffs.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) β€” No. 6 TCU hosts ninth-ranked Kansas State (7:30 p.m. Eastern kickoff) with both teams sporting 7-1 records in a game with huge implications in the races for a Big 12 title and a spot in the first four-team College Football Playoff. Kansas State leads in the Big 12 standings, but TCU is a spot higher in the playoff rankings.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) β€” In what may be the most significant game in the Big Ten this season, seventh-ranked Michigan State hosts 13th-ranked Ohio State in a matchup of 7-1 teams (8 p.m. Eastern kickoff). The winner has the inside track to the East Division title and remains in the mix for college football’s new four-team playoff.
