ASHE COUNTY, N.C. — Officials are investigating after an explosion was reported at an ambulance manufacturing plant in Ashe County. Police say three people were taken to a local hospital.
Crews responded to American Emergency Vehicles on American Way after the explosion happened around noon. Investigators believe the incident happened in the painting area of the plant.
