The Press Box will be hosting a Women‘s Professional Billiard Association Regional Tour Stop on November 15-16, 2014. The ladies will be competing in a race to 7, 9-ball event trying to qualify for the Regional Tour Championship to be held in January, 2015. Players from North and South Carolina and surrounding areas such as Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia, including the current Virginia 8-Ball Champion, Cheryl Pritchard, WPBA Hall of Famer, Belinda Calhoun and Charlotte‘s own Lisa Cossette, Carolina Classic I Champion, will be competing for the title of the Charlotte 9-Ball Classic Champion and ranking points. Tiger Southern Mid Atlantic Regional Tour or, Tiger SMART, is producing the event in conjunction with Tiger Products, and Chris Babilonia of The Press Box. Admission is free of charge for both day and night sessions on both Saturday and Sunday.
