YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A Boone woman was flown to the hospital after a head-on crash in York County, SC Wednesday morning.
The SC Highway Patrol said Wanda McBrayer, 60, crossed the center line and crashed head on into a tractor trailer. It happened on SC Highway 5 south of Rock Hill around 11:30 a.m.
McBrayer was trapped inside her Ford for a short time before she was airlifted. The crash is still under investigation.
