Final Weekend of the Renaissance Festival

Don’t miss your last chance to chomp a turkey leg before Turkey Day!  The 21st annual Carolina Renaissance Festival season ends at dusk this Sunday providing just two more days to enjoy the region’s great fall revel.  The wildly popular event has been visited by nearly 165,000 time travelers so far this season and with the grace of good weather in the forecast, Festival organizers expect the final weekend to end with a big dose of cheer.

The Festival will be hosting a royal food drive with attendees receiving free child admission for ages 12 and under with each can food donation at the Festival entrance.  Thousands of can food items will be collected in the annual tradition that benefits the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.

The final weekend also presents an opportunity to save big on unique holiday gifts at the Festival’s artisan marketplace with many of the craft shops offering discount pricing on a diverse selection of handmade gift items.  The marketplace features pottery, jewelry, perfume, glass blown ornaments, smoking ceramic dragons, bath & body products, medieval costumes, hand dipped and carved candles, unique musical instruments, children’s toys, a full spectrum of clothing, and much more.

Don’t miss your last chance of the year to enjoy your best day out in history.  Huzzah!
