CHARLOTTE, NC — Family members remembered people murdered in Charlotte Tuesday night.  Pictures of the victims lined a table at Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church in Uptown.

They lit candles and prayed.  Parents of victims say this is a way to help in the grieving process.

“This does help you get out and feel what other people feel and be with other people that relate to you,” said Jackie Tillman.

There have been 36 homicides in Charlotte so far this year.  That’s down from 49 at this time last year.
