CHARLOTTE, NC — Life in prison without the possibility of parole for a man convicted in a deadly shooting in northwest Charlotte.
A jury found Arthur Givens guilty of first degree murder Friday. Β Givens shot Donald Gist, Junior five times in December of 2013. Β The shooting happened outside the Queens Mini Mart on Beatties Ford Road.
Police say the two men knew each other.
