Tom Brady had a pair of touchdown passes for the 9-3 Patriots, who ended a seven-game winning streak and saw their lead in the AFC East cut to two games over Buffalo.
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) β Police have found the body of an Ohio State football player who had been missing since Wednesday. Police tell media outlets that Kosta Karageorge (KOH’-stah KAHR’-ah-johrj) died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound near campus. According to a police report, his mother said Karageorge texted her the morning he disappeared and said, “I am sorry if I am an embarrassment.”
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) β Nebraska needs a new football coach after firing Bo Pelini. He won at least nine games in each of his seven seasons with the Huskers and was 66-27 with three conference title game appearances in the Big 12 and Big 10. But Pelini never won a conference championship, and his teams lost four games in every season he completed.

Popovich returned for the opener of a four-game road trip after missing two games following an undisclosed minor medical procedure. Danny Green scored 18 points to lead the San Antonio Spurs to their seventh straight victory.
