CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers waived veteran cornerback Antoine Cason.
The starting cornerback was benched in the Vikings game after giving up a touchdown to Greg Jennings. Sources say rookie Bene Benwikere will replace Cason.
The Panthers also released linebacker Jason Williams. The team promoted linebacker Horace Miller from the practice squad.
