The holiday season is the time of giving. Not everyone (or every pup) is just as fortunate as we are, which is why it’s so important to give! Here at our N Charlotte Toyota dealership, we’re HUGE animal lovers. After all, we have our very own special pup, Mr. Toyota! We are so very fortunate to have loyal customers on our side, but we know that some people don’t have that. This holiday season, we’re extremely proud to team up with the North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue (NMAR) to help out those lovable pups that don’t have a furever home! Take a look at what we’re doing and how YOU can help bring joy to these lovable animals this holiday season!
Toyota of N Charlotte and North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue team up
Many of us are lucky to have loving homes and families that love us. Think how disheartening it would be alone without a home and a family to love you. That’s exactly how these animals feel. Luckily, this wonderful organization takes care of these animals until a home is found for them! NMAR is a privately funded organization that runs solely on donations. This is where YOU come in!
Toyota of N Charlotte is partnering up with this worthy organization to help them gather much needed supplies! We’re hosting a holiday drive to gather those supplies. Needed supplies include:
- Dog crates of all sizes
- Dog beds
- Leashes
- Medium or large harnesses
- Bleach
- Spray cleaner with bleach
- Blankets
- Laundry baskets
- Gas gift cards
- Gift cards (specifically Walmart, Home Depot, or Lowes)
- Cans of squeeze cheese (they like their snacks!)
Our holiday drive runs all the way to December 31, which means you have plenty of time to donate some supplies! We’ll have plenty of barrels set up so you can drop off the items or you can give them to our receptionist!

The reason why our Toyota dealership in N Charlotte chose an animal organization to work with during the holiday season is because animals need love too! We are animal lovers at our company and we believe that animals that don’t have a home deserve love and kind treatment!
In addition to making donations, there are plenty of ways in which you can help animals find their furever home! How can you help an animal find a loving family?
- Do you have extra room in your home and heart? Foster a pup until it can find a stable and loving furever home! This will improve their life tenfold and it will enrich your life tremendously!
- Do you have a reliable ride? You might be able to work as a transporter for pups! A dog may find his forever home far away from the shelter or his foster home and might need a hitch. You could enrich his life by just giving the pup a ride to his new home and new life!
- Do you find that you have extra time? If you do, volunteer! You spending a few minutes with a pup can surely lift its spirits up!
