We’re talking about the actual, real car that was used in the movie. It’s the Holy Grail of movie props for some people, but there’s plenty of other cool stuff out there.
The Trans-Am is up for sale because Burt Reynolds needs money. He’s had financial problems for several years, so he’s dipping into his collection of stuff from over the years and putting them up for auction. And the thing getting the most attention is the Bandit’s car. At last check, the bidding was up to $120,000, and there’s still time for you to get in a bid.
