Surveillance Operation Leads To Drug Arrests In Lincoln County

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Police arrested three people in separate incidents during an undercover surveillance operation south of Lincolnton.

Police say during their operation, they witnessed Tina Brown, 46, and Christel Camp, 41, conduct a drug deal in the parking lot of Dollar General in High Shoals.  Both women were charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance and conspiracy.

Investigators then Kareem Moore, 33, pull into the parking lot of the Dollar General.  Police were tipped off that Moore was allegedly transporting cocaine to the Lincoln County area.

Moore never exited the vehicle but remained on his mobile phone while looking around the parking lot.  Once he drove off, police initiated a stop.  That’s when police say Moore threw a bag of crack cocaine out the window of the vehicle.

He pulled over and was charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine, maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance, speeding to elude arrest, littering and resisting officers.
