CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The coach of the Charlotte 49ers baseball team has dismissed five players following an investigation into hazing allegations.
UNC Charlotte has suspended the five students from school as well. The baseball team has been reinstated and can continue activities as of Friday.
In a news release, school officials say, “The University stands firm in its resolve that there is no place for hazing, bullying or misconduct at UNC Charlotte.”
