CHARLOTTE, NC — Some Good Friends raised nearly $273,000 for needy families in Charlotte Thursday. It’s their best year ever.
More than 1,200 women attended the group’s 28th annual luncheon at the convention center. The Good Friends tradition began in 1987. Since then, the group has raised nearly $3 million.
