ASHE COUNTY, NC — A habitual drunk driver who escaped from a work detail in Ashe County may be on his way to the Concord area.
Christopher Church was serving a six year sentence at the Wilkes Correctional Center. Β He was set to be released in May. Β Church disappeared from his job at a DOT yard around 2:15 Monday afternoon.
He is from Concord, and also has family in Virginia. Β If you see Church, call 911.
