CHARLOTTE, N.C. — “Basketball Wives” star Brandi Maxiell isn’t just a reality TV star or the wife of Charlotte Hornet Jason Maxiell, she’s also a cancer survivor.
Maxiell stops by Rising to send a message to all women. She wants you to “know your body” and know the symptoms that are often overlooked in ovarian cancer.
She was diagnosed at the young age of 24 and says that she can now see it as a blessing as she shares her story with women of all ages.
Maxiell also gives us a little teaser about the upcoming season of VH1’s “Basketball Wives“.
