UPDATE: CORNELIUS, NC — Surveillance pictures show what appears to be an elderly man robbing a bank in Cornelius. That suspect is still on the run.
The heist happened around 2:30 Monday afternoon at the Carolinas Telco Federal Credit Union on West Catawba Avenue. Surveillance pictures show the suspect pointing a gun at a teller.
Police believe the man left the bank and took off on a bicycle. A bike and some cash were found behind the shops at Fresh Market Shopping Center. Investigators think he had a car waiting for him.

CORNELIUS, N.C. — Police are searching for a bank robbery suspect in Cornelius.
Investigators say the Carolina Telco Federal Credit Union on West Catawba Avenue near I-77 was robbed just before 3pm.
