The Interview, after being pulled, then released online and in theaters, debuted in 16th place overall for the holiday weekend. Not too bad, considering. It actually pulled in nearly $18 million, which isn’t bad for such a limited release through independent theaters, and the fact that renting at home only costs about $6, and the whole family can watch it a couple of times.
$15 million of the haul was from online streaming, and we wonder if that’s something you’d like to see more of in the future…
