CHARLOTTE, NC — The Panthers are pounding to the playoffs. Β Instead of anxious, the team is focused, and somewhat relaxed, heading into Saturday’s game.

Saturday’s game means a short week for the Panthers. Β Instead of their normal Tuesday off, they were back at work, this time, indoors. Β For the second time in as many weeks, the Cats hit the carpet at the Charlotte Convention Center, something Head Coach Ron Rivera decided to do yesterday. Β The Head Coach says he liked Tuesday’s tempo, and that his team seems to be in the right mindset when it comes to playoff mode.

“I think a little bit has to do with experience and understanding,” said Head Coach Ron Rivera. Β “And again, the things that we talked about are just being ourselves, getting back to what we do. Β I’ve been real appreciative of the energy level the guys have had.”

“Just approach it like we have these last couple of weeks,” added tight end Greg Olsen. Β “We’ve played winning football. Β We don’t need to reinvent ourselves just ’cause it’s the playoffs. Β Just play, just play. Β Let the game come to you.”

The Panthers are expected to return to their outdoor practice fields tomorrow as they continue to game plan for the Cardinals. Β It’s been nearly a decade since the Panthers actually won a postseason game.
